Over the past few years, we have originally developed, and currently maintain in constant technical efficiency, an underground communication system at all Mining Divisions of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.

Selected projects:
- The world's largest DOTRA underground radio communication system. It cooperates with the mine's alarm/broadcast system and telephone switchboard. It covers 470 km of mine workings and 2,400 radio-telephones
- System for identification and tracking of mining machinery in underground workings
- Regional system for dispatch radio communication system (about 500 subscribers - rail transport, security and maintenance services and water intake monitoring)
- S-160 mine shaft communication system (21 systems in KGHM), designed for wireless transfer of verbal information between a hoisting machine operator or a cager working at the edge of the shaft and an operator of the mine-cage on any level within the shaft
- RATRA rescue Radio Communication System is portable solution of communication for coordination of action of rescue teams at the place of rescue operation. The main task of this system is to support rescue actions taken in underground mine excavations, it may also be used in actions taken above the ground, particularly when other means of communication are unreliable or unavailable.
